Summary
James Kier reads his own obituary long before he dies. (Actually another James Kier dies in a car accident.) This James Kier, a real estate developer, is described in the obituary as a nasty, uncaring person. He attempts to make amends with people hurt over the years and tries to reconnect with his son and wife, who is dying of cancer.
