Summary
Now that Ever is immortal and ready to learn about all of her new supernatural abilities, Damen, her soul mate, dumps her. Damen's powers are weak, and he and everyone at school turn against her. Everyone, that is, except the creepy new guy, Roman. Miserable and alone, Ever goes to Summerland in search of a way to save Damen. In the process she discovers that she may be able to undo everything and go back to the way things were. She must decide between her love for Damen and her old normal life with her family.

Critique
In this sequel to Evermore, Ever is faced with many difficult choices about sex, her past, and her future. Separated from Damen, who is truly obnoxious, she is a strong and independent character. Roman is a creepy villain, and the twist at the end is really shocking and will leave readers eager for the conclusion of the story in Shadowland. Recommended reading for Twilight fans and paranormal romance fans.
