Summary
When ex-FBI agent Sloane Burbank's mother is attacked in an apparent home invasion, Sloane learns that the FBI--and her lover agent Derek Parker--are investigating a Chinese art theft ring. Sloan soon finds out that her father and his fellow art collectors have long-standing ties to the Chinese art in question and know secrets that may be causing them problems now.

Critique
Sequel to Twisted by Andrea Kane, but not necessary to read it first.
Sexy and suspenseful, but not as tension-filled as Twisted.
Hope there are more books in this series--Sloane does get her job back with the FBI at the end.
