Summary
Nick, Phoebe, and Lauren are juniors at an elite private school in Manhattan, and they have all been tapped to join a powerful and secret society. With their membership comes parties, gifts, and opportunities that most people only dream of, but none of it is free. The Skulls meets Gossip Girls in this dark and dangerous teen novel that is full of underage drinking and overprivileged kids. It is spooky and mysterious, but full of cliched characters. The ending falls flat, but sets up the series, leaving readers wondering what happens next.
