Summary
Billi is a Knight Templar, but just wants to be normal. His mother was murdered, and his father only cares about knights. And, his only friend, Kay has been gone training for a year. When Kay returns, everything is different. Billi wants to quit, but the unholy are rising and the Templars are the only ones who can stop the Angel of Death.

Critique
This novel starts off a bit slow, and some readers may find Billi to be whiny. However, once the plot gets going there is plenty of action and surprises. Billi eventually becomes a strong likeable character. This paranormal romance is light on romance and will appeal to fans of Vampire Diaries and Buffy. Recommend.
