Summary
Destiny Faraday has always been a loner. It is easier to protect her childhood secret if she keeps her distance from the other students at the boarding school she attends. Things change when she unexpectedly discovers an abandoned but running car. With three other students she sets out on an unauthorized road trip in the hopes of having `one fair day.` The trip is full of coincidences, revealed secrets, and the beginnings of new friendships.
Critique
This is a thoughtful, sweet, and moving story. It is both heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. The four travelers are each unique and easy to relate to. While the story is character and plot driven, Destiny's secret will draw you in and even surprise some when it is finally revealed. Highly recommend.
