Summary
When a dead body is found in the local bistro, Chief Inspector Gamache is once again summoned to the village of Three Pines, Quebec to solve the murder. Three Pines, a close-knit town of artists and eccentrics, is not ready to concede that one of their own could be the murderer. When the victim's cabin is found in the woods filled with valuable antiquities, the investigation takes a new turn.
Critique
This mystery's cozy and enticing setting (the food served at the bistro sounds amazing), well-defined characters, and twists and turns make for a great mystery! Fifth in the Chief Inspector Gamache novel series. Highly recommended.
