Summary
Sarah Starzynski was a member of a Jewish family living in Paris, France in 1942 during the German Occupation. On July 16th, 1942, the French government collaborated with the German military and took French Jewish families and sent them to their deaths. Sixty years later an American journalist is asked to write an article about this part of France's history.
