Summary
When Elizabeth starts seeing dots and ropes around her friends and mother, she thinks she has an eye problem. The strange visions continue even after eye surgery. When unusual and cryptic notes begin arriving, Elizabeth fears she may be crazy. One thing is certain, as the note says, Elizabeth is not who she thinks she is. Looking for an explanation for her mysterious and disturbing visions, Elizabeth and her boyfriend flee to New York, where the notes are coming from. Lives are at stake and Elizabeth needs answers before it is too late.
Critique
The concept of the story is unique, and the language and dialogue are spot on. The secondary characters are intriguing. However, the plot is a bit complicated to follow at times. The stories within the story and the abrupt ending nicely set up a number of sequels. This is an interesting story about finding and being true to yourself. Hopefully more will be revealed and explained in the next book. Recommend
