Summary
After covertly being asked to do a forensic sketch of a murdered young woman whose face was removed, FBI agent Sydney Fitzpatrick becomes involved in a far-reaching government conspiracy that sends her from Washington, D.C. to Italy in search of a map of Solomon's Temple.

Critique
The novel had a slow start but picked up toward the middle. Although coincidental, the many similarities to Dan Brown's The Lost Symbol became a distraction for me. The author did a lot of research--too bad this book didn't come out first.
