Summary
Inspector Beverley Wharton finds herself ensnarled in a suspicious murder case, a missing person's case, romantic difficulties, and career-ending office politics while also trying to deal with the return of her gravely ill brother Jack. Seventh in a series.
Critique
Fast-paced novel with many twists and turns that kept my interest until the end. Some violence and grisly descriptions. Easy to follow without having read others in the series. Recommend.
