Summary
Brittany Ellis has created a perfect image in order to hide her imperfect home life. Alex Fuentes is a tough gang member who cares about the safety of his family, not his image. Their worlds collide in chemistry class when they are forced to be lab partners. A powerful and gritty story of star-crossed lovers. There are some cliches, but overall, this is a quick and enjoyable read. Steamy romance, gang violence, and alcohol use make this book more appropriate for older readers. Highly recommend.
