Summary
When retired NYPD homicide detective Dave Gurney is contacted by a college friend who has received threatening letters, he didn't think that he would end up involved in a strange cat and mouse game with a killer. Dave quickly learns that none of the evidence is what it first seems to be, and that the killer has an agenda that may involve Dave personally.
Critique
This extraordinary first novel has a complex plot that will keep you guessing until the end. If you are a puzzle lover and think you're good at figuring out clues, this book is a fun challenge as well as a great mystery. Highly recommend.
