Summary
It's 1896 at the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago. Gustav and Otto Amlingmeyer have been invited to participate in the "World's Greatest Detective" competition with crime solvers from around the world. On day two the contest's organizer is found dead in the "Mammoth Cheese" exhibit from Canada. Was it an accident or murder? Gustav and Otto believe it was murder and spend their time and energy solving the crime and not worrying about the contest.
Critique
The fifth entry in the Holmes on the Range mystery series is a treat. The reader experiences life at the Fair with the quirky brothers in the "White City." Recommend.
