Summary
Daisy and her friends are preparing to graduate from high school. A series of attacks on young vampires and werewolves cause tempers to flare, threatening to destroy peace in both Nightshade and the Giordano family. Meanwhile, Daisy anxiously awaits her college acceptance letters and continues to work on the problem of Lil, the jukebox at Slim's Diner. Villains from the first books reappear and unless Daisy and her pals figure out what is going on quickly, no one in Nightshade is safe.
Critique
Overall this was a satisfying conclusion to a sweet series. The story has a good amount of mystery and suspense and a few major surprises. There was also a good deal of repetition, so if you missed any of the previous books you shouldn't be too lost. Like the rest of the series, this is a good, clean read, ideal for readers who enjoy a light paranormal romance.
