Summary
Evan is haunted by the loss of his best friend, Ariel, and his role in her disappearance. On the other hand, Jack, Ariel's boyfriend, is just trying to put it all behind him. Evan's own mental health begins to unravel when he receives mysterious photographs. Is Ariel back and punishing him, or is someone playing a sick joke?
Critique
This unique and angsty teen thriller is the result of a collaboration between the author and his photographer friend. The photo images are haunting and beautiful and enhance the already emotionally tense prose. Taut, mysterious, and suspenseful, readers are kept guessing to the very end. Highly recommended.
