Summary
In the second book of the Iron Fey series, Meghan Chase, daughter of the Summer King, is a prisoner of the Winter Queen. She is powerless and has been scorned by her love, Ash. But when war looms between the two courts, Meghan could be the only one to save her newly discovered home.
Critique
Meghan's flip-flopping between heartbroken depression and angry hard-heartedness is a bit melodramatic, but the fast-paced action and amazing supporting characters make up for this minor annoyance. The idea of the Iron Fey continues to be explored and is intriguing. A solid sequel. Recommended.
