Summary
David Zinc, ground down by crushing hours and tedious assignments as a fifth-year associate in a pretentious corporate law firm, is altogether burned out. Reeling from a major melt-down, he literally stumbles into a street-side law office harboring two partners and a secretary. He undertakes to prove his mettle when he gets down and dirty dealing with a whole new set of real-life legal issues.
Critique
For those readers who perhaps felt that this iconic author may have left them wanting of late, I would submit that he clearly has his mojo back. For the record, this witty, informative and widely entertaining work is de facto proof of that. Highly, highly recommend.
