Summary
Amateur sleuth, Kate Shackleton, is contacted by Tabitha Braithwaite, a WWI VAD (Voluntary Aid Detachment) friend to find her missing father, mill owner Joshua Braithwaite, in time for her wedding. He's been missing for over five years after a suicide attempt. Former police officer Jim Sykes helps Kate unravel the secrets surrounding his disappearance.
