Summary
One year has passed in the FAYZ and loyalties are divided as conditions deteriorate. Now the surviving children and teens have been plunged into darkness. The barrier is changing, the gaiaphage is hungry, and once again chaos and fear permeate life in Perdido Beach. Meanwhile, readers finally get a glimpse of what life is like on the outside of the barrier.

Critique
Amazing character development, shocking plot developments, and Grant's trademark terror and gore combine in this second to last installment of the series. Fans will not be disappointed! Highly Recommended.
