Summary
Once best friends, Jamie and Gretchen had been drifting apart since college. Sadly, it is Gretchen's unexpected death that brings the two friends close again. Asked to complete Gretchen's current manuscript, Jamie stumbles upon old secrets someone is willing to kill to keep.
Critique
This is more than a murder mystery, this story is also about: friendship, divorce, career, motherhood, and how women identify themselves in relation to these topics. Not a fast page turner but nicely thought-provoking. Recommended read.
