Summary
Molly Ayer, who is aging out of foster care, has been given 50 hours of community service for stealing a copy of "Jane Eyre" from her local library. She is paired with 91-year-old Vivian Daley who needs help cleaning out her attic. As they sort through boxes, Vivian reminisces about her placement with three different families after leaving New York for Minnesota at age 10 on an "Orphan Train".
Critique
A moving tale of friendship, respect, and understanding between two very different women.
