She contacts Queen Mary for assistance and is recruited by Edwina, the Dowager Duchess of Eynsford. The present duke, Cedric, has not produced an heir. Edwina has located a new heir, Jack Altringham, who was raised on a cattle ranch in Australia. Georgie is to come to Eynsford and help smooth off Jack's rough edges. Shortly after Jack arrives at Eynsford, Cedric is found dead and Jack is the prime murder suspect.
Critique
The seventh entry in the Royal Spyness mystery series is a quick fun read.
