Summary
Cath is obsessed with the "Simon Snow" book series and she fearlessly writes online fan-fiction starring the books' characters. As 'Magicath,' Cath's chapters are followed around the world, but Cath is much less fearless in everyday life. As she and her twin Wren begin college together, Cath feels lost when Wren insists they room with other people in separate dorms. With her new roommate Reagan, whose boyfriend Levi is always around, a fiction-writing professor who thinks writing fan-fiction is plagiarism, a father whose mental state is crumbling, and a sister who is too busy partying to pay her any mind, Cath feels more alone than ever. How does a girl who likes to spend all her time in a world of make-believe navigate her very real and ever-changing new world?
