Summary
While demolishing an abandoned New York building that he recently bought, Roarke and his construction company uncover 12 skeletons that have been buried behind a wall. Calling on his wife, Lieutenant Eve Dallas, to investigate, Eve soon determines that this building once housed a shelter for troubled teenagers and perhaps there is a connection between the murder victims and someone she knows.
Critique
This is the 38th novel in the series featuring Eve Dallas and the series continues to grow and develop through the years. A new forensic anthropologist is introduced while the other characters from Eve's past continue to assist and interact with Eve and her police investigation.
