Summary
Gabby and husband Elliott appear to be a rock solid couple even after twenty years of marriage and two teenaged daughters, but Gabby's head is turned one night and she makes an awful mistake that she regrets instantly. As a result, trusts are broken and friendships are lost and Gabby's life changes dramatically and irreversibly. Now, she's left wondering if Elliott can ever forgive her and move forward with their life together?
Critique
This novel is a perfect vacation read. Green's characters are realistic as they tackle the messier side of marriage and deal with the bundle of emotions that come along with infidelity. Sexy scenes, a light tone, and the need to know how Gabby's story ends will keep you turning pages well past your bedtime.
