Summary
On a cold, dreary day an old Mercedes plows into a line of people waiting for a job fair. Eight people die and the killer escapes. For detective Bill Hodges, this is the case that haunts him after he retires. When he receives a letter from a madman claiming to be the killer, Hodges sets out to catch him before he can kill again.
Critique
A twisted cat-and-mouse thriller from the king of horror pits a retired detective against the perp who got away. Fast-paced and at times utterly disturbing, this latest offering from King is a page-turner!
