Critique
Alternating between the present and 1849, readers learn the story of Imogen Grantham, a young woman stuck in a loveless marriage, and her connection to Julie. This is a lovely journey into the past, full of romance, secrets, betrayals and intrigue. The past and the present converge as Julie discovers the truth about her family and her own troubling past.
