Summary
A family is torn apart when each reacts differently after their daughter is kidnapped while vacationing in the Rockies. Her little brother feels responsible and runs away, her mother returns home, depressed and fearful, and her father stays in Colorado, determined to continue searching.
Critique
This is psychological suspense at its finest, with well-drawn characters, fine writing and no easy answers. It's incredibly sad and harrowing, but you won't be able to put it down.
