Summary
Abby and Red Whitshank live in a beautifully made house, a house built by Red's father and a house that has seen their four children born and raised. When Red has a heart attack and Abby issues with her memory, the children and their parents confront memories, relationships and the history of their family.
Critique
Told by unspooling through the past and present, this story of four generations of the Whitshank family is beautifully written and taps into experiences and emotions that we all can relate to.
