Summary
Lucy and Elinor Sutherland were unstoppable women. Lucy (Lucille) became a British fashion designer in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Her clothing designs were beautiful, daring and very expensive. Elinor wrote romantic fiction that was popular but considered scandalous for the times. The sisters were jealous of the otherís success but were supportive. Both women experienced problems in love.
Critique
A quick moving tale where many events related in the book are historically accurate.
