Summary
When Cameron Bright is found dead of heat exposure in the remote Outback of Australia, everyone who knew how prepared for the elements he always was, is suspicious. His eldest and semi-estranged brother Nathan returns to the family's cattle ranch and tries to figure out what led to his brotherís death. Was it suicide? Murder? When Cameron's many hidden secrets begin surfacing, Nathan starts to question whether he really knew his brother at all?
Critique
This slower-paced crime fiction has family drama and turmoil at its center. Though it begs to be savored, as more secrets about Cam and his family are revealed, this dark, suspenseful, and deeply atmospheric novel will have you turning its pages at lightning speed.
